Mean noradrenaline (NoA, μg·g−1 ·h−1 ) infusion rates. The infusion rates were plotted as a function of the blood adrenomedullin (ADM, pg·mL 1) concentrations in all 23 animals taken together, i.e., also taking into account the three animals excluded from the detailed statistical analysis because of abdominal bleeding and inadequate antibody activity. The Pearson coefficient of correlation was r2 = 0.574 (p < 0.001).
