Role of CD31 in neutrophil activation and intestinal injury after acute mesenteric ischemia. a Principal component analysis showed positive correlations between intestinal MMP-9, plasma MMP-9, intestinal luminal hemoglobin, plasma E. coli DNA, and the shedding of CD31 into plasma in all groups.
