  1. The values are reported as medians and interquartile ranges. The tidal volume distributions were calculated by dividing the impedance change in the ventral region of interest by the impedance change in the dorsal region of interest. The 5-min recording section was used as a reference section for the 25- and 35-min values, whereas the baseline section was used for the 30-min values. Impedance changes are reported as a comparison value for the chosen reference section.
